“Women in Energy: Leadership in times of transition”.

This year we want to focus on the transition the energy sector is going through. The transition can be seen as a process of switching to renewable energy sources or changing from being highly profitable and challenging business towards business under pressure. In both cases the new situation asks for different measures and new skills, it offers both challenges and opportunities. What makes a success in a not standard situation? What opportunities does it offer and how to take them?

Our goal is inspiring women and men for a challenging journey and getting the best out of themselves. A stronger need for collaboration, authentic leaders, entrepreneurship creates a background where diversity and inclusion can contribute enormously. We aim to raise awareness on the importance of D&I on the work floor and make a step towards equality. By connecting people we hope to create a network of support of professionals in energy sector for sharing experiences, mentorship and sponsorship.

We aim at creating a program full of inspiring speakers, in-depth panel discussions and 5 workshops tailored towards empowering women and men to reach gender parity at all ranks.

Three speakers will share their best practices on developing themselves and talk about what it takes for an organization to survive and grow through transition.

The panel discussion will focus on changes in the world influencing the energy sector and if/how can women contribute best to make a transition happen.
