NOVEMBER EVENT: Be curious, a conversation with Adriana Citlali Ramírez

Last Thursday, we had the opportunity to discuss with Adriana about a wide range of topics related to her career. We discussed about the importance of becoming a volunteer, we explored the effects of sexual harassment in the workplace, and we had some pieces of advise for freshly graduated people. We learnt to pursue our dreams and to look around us, because we can fine role models and people that are willing to help us in every corner. One of our main take-away message was: find your passion and, then, go and get it!

Adriana is a Mexican citizen who has a PhD in physics. She is currently the TGS’s Chief Geophysicist and Technology Advisor and serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors of SEAM (the SEG Advance Modeling Corporation). Adriana has authored four patents and more than 50 technical publications. You can learn more about Adriana’s career in this SEG webinar: My Path to a Career in Geophysics - Adriana Citlali Ramirez
